The Parish Picnic is Coming

It’s hard to believe, but we are a mere three weeks away from the 2026 Parish Picnic! If you haven’t already done so, mark your calendars for Sunday, September 13th for the annual St. Bridget of Sweden Parish Picnic. Get ready for another day filled with faith, fun, fellowship.
Outdoor Mass: The 10:30am Mass will be outdoors behind the school with the altar on the patio and the congregation gathered in the field below. While there will be limited seating near the altar for those with mobility issues, we recommend everyone bring folding chairs or a blanket for your family to sit on the grass during Mass.
Great Food: Your local Knights will be grilling burgers, hot dogs and more and serving them with all your favorite picnic side dishes and desserts. Whet your appetite for an outdoor smorgasbord guaranteed to please everyone.
Soccer Challenge: The annual K of C Youth Soccer Challenge will be held immediately after Mass on the athletic field below. See if your golden boot can score more goals than Mbappe did in the World Cup. Winners in each age and gender group will advance to the regional competition.
Bounce House: What better way to work off a belly full of delicious food than jumping around in the bounce house?! The always popular bounce house and other inflatables will be ready for hopping, bounding and frolicking right after the food is served.
Cornhole Tournament: Start practicing your pitching and tossing now to prove your deftness at placing bean bags in tiny holes at 20 paces. The top duo in our annual Cornhole Tournament will claim parish bragging rights for a whole year!
Pie Eating Contest: No picnic would be complete for pie lovers without fresh baked pie. Supplies will be limited, so be sure to sign up early to choose your favorite flavor and then show the entire parish how much you truly love pie in our annual Pie Eating Contest.
