The Power of Three: Prayer, Pancakes and Pies

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” -2 Corinthians 13:14

On this glorious Trinity Sunday, the number three looms large. As you heard during Mass today, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit represent the ultimate power of three. If you look closely, the Trinity is present, working together as one, in every major event in the Bible. This is the great mystery of our faith and why our prayers begin and end “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”

Today is our Spring Pancake Breakfast. Bring your family and friends to the Parish Center after every Mass this morning for food, fun and fellowship. We have all-you-can-eat pancakes with accompanying egg dishes, sausage and beverages. Proceeds support Fr. Ajeesh’s India mission, along with scholarships, seminarians and St. Bridget School. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children, $25 for families.

Because June begins tomorrow, we have begun taking orders for Father’s Day Pies. We once again have all your favorite flavors from Oronoque Farms. If your family likes Cherry, Apple Crumb or Blueberry, we have them. If Dad insists on Strawberry Rhubarb, Scrumptious Apple or Succulent Blueberry Crumb, we have them. Pies can be frozen and reheated, so order three this Trinity Sunday. They are only $20 apiece and will be available for pickup on Father’s Day.
